Features: CallClerk is an easy to use program that can manage your telephone calls very well. There are a range of features to manage incoming calls attended by this program. To let you know who`s calling it can sound a distinctive tone, the computer can even announce a name and see a customizable caller id window with name, number and a picture of the caller. It can show you the Outlook contact card too. You can decide whether to pick up the call after looking at all that. It`ll automatically hang up on unwanted calls if the number or name detected is on the blocked list or play a message asking to be taken off the call list. It can even play a tone that some callers will think the phone is not connected.
It`ll email you or send a cell phone text message, if you are away with the call details. It`ll link up with a reverse look up service based on caller id, name or number. List of calls, messages and faxes can get published on a website so that you can access it from anywhere. Information would be password protected of course. The CallerClerck can act as an answering machine, record all calls. It cal also log all your calls and act as a speakerphone. It can dial outgoing numbers for you and send/receive faxes. It`ll announce arrival of calls to machines networked to your machine, if you want. The utility can let other programs be triggered by the incoming call.
Overall: Rich set of features makes this a desirable phone attendant/manager program.
